Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of fueldelivery.org at fueldelivery.org (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the Site.

1. What the directory is

The Site is an informational directory of fuel dealers. We publish business information, search and filter tools, and educational content. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a dealer; we don’t take orders, accept payment, schedule deliveries, or hold customer accounts.

2. No warranties on dealer information

We make a reasonable effort to keep dealer listings accurate, but the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that listings are complete, current, or correct. Phone numbers, addresses, hours, service areas, fuel types, certifications, licensure, and pricing can change without notice. Verify anything that matters to you directly with the dealer before relying on it.

3. Outbound links are user-driven

When you click through to a dealer’s phone number, website, or email, you leave the directory. We don’t control those destinations and we don’t endorse them. Their content, security, and privacy practices are theirs alone.

4. No safety, regulatory, or professional advice

Fuels covered on this Site — including propane, heating oil, kerosene, diesel, natural gas, wood, pellets, and others — are governed by federal, state, provincial, and local codes. Where the Site discusses tank placement, code compliance, CO and leak safety, permitting, or hazmat handling, it cites a primary authoritative source (such as the National Fire Protection Association, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, or the equivalent regulator) and is for general informational purposes only. It is not professional advice. For your specific situation, consult a licensed fuel professional and your local authority having jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, copy, or systematically extract listings except via interfaces we explicitly publish for that purpose;
• attempt to disrupt the Site, bypass rate limits, or probe for vulnerabilities except via a coordinated disclosure to hello@fueldelivery.org;
• impersonate a dealer, submit knowingly false listing corrections, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages;
• use the Site in violation of any applicable law.

6. Submissions and corrections

If you submit a correction, listing request, review, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it to operate and improve the directory. You represent that the content is accurate and that you have the right to submit it. We may decline, edit, or remove submissions at our discretion.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s structure, layout, written guides, and compilation of listings are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Dealer names, logos, and addresses belong to the respective dealers; we display them under fair use as part of a factual directory.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Fuel Dealer Directory and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any dealer you contact through it. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

9. Changes to the Site or these terms

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may also update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change and material changes will be flagged on the Site. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, United States, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
