About
Founded in 1960 in Gonzales, Texas, Schmidt & Sons is a Central Texas commercial bulk-fuel and branded-lubricants distributor: gasoline, on- and off-road diesel, DEF and lubricants delivered by its own trucks, with a statewide 24/7 on-site fleet-fueling ('wet hosing') operation. In September 2024 its assets were sold to Kappa Texas Oil Company (Grupo Energeticos) and it merged with On-Site Fuels, Inc.
